SERVICE AGREEMENT
Derby City Trash Can Valet
Service Agreement
This Service Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Derby City Trash Can Valet, a service of Derby City Poop Scoop LLC (“Provider”), and the customer (“Client”) who subscribes to the trash can valet service.
1. Service Description
Derby City Trash Can Valet provides a residential trash can movement service. Our technicians will move Client’s trash cans from the house or side yard to the curb the evening before scheduled pickup, and return them after the trash is collected the next afternoon
2. Subscription & Billing
- This service is offered on a prepaid monthly subscription basis.
- Billing occurs on the day of signup and renews on the same calendar day each month.
- If payment fails or a card is declined, the Client will be notified immediately.
- The Client will have 7 calendar days to make payment. If payment is not received, services will be paused until the balance is paid in full.
- Client may cancel at any time before their next billing date to avoid future charges.
- Skips per customer will not be refunded
3. Pricing
- $49/month for two trash cans
- $5/month for each additional can
- Optional Add-Ons:
- Sanitation & deodorization – $5/week
- Fly bait application – $5/month (once monthly or as needed)
- Sanitation & deodorization – $5/week
- All trash must be placed inside your trash cans with the lids closed.
We do not pick up loose trash or bags left outside the cans unless you notify us ahead of time.
- Large or heavy items (such as furniture, appliances, or bulk waste) may incur an additional charge and require prior approval.
4. Service Timing
- Valet services occur the evening before scheduled trash pickup, typically between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
- Return of cans takes place after trash is collected the following day
5. Client Responsibilities
- It is the Client’s responsibility to provide accurate trash pickup information, including any schedule changes made by their waste hauler or municipality.
- If the pickup day changes and the Provider is not notified, service may be missed without refund or reschedule.
- Client must ensure that trash cans are accessible for pickup and return.
6. Weather & Service Interruptions
- Services will be performed rain or shine.
- However, if conditions are unsafe due to severe weather (e.g., snow, ice, flooding, or state-issued travel advisories), service may be delayed or rescheduled.
- In such cases, we will make every effort to communicate updates and resume service as soon as safely possible.
7. One-Time Services
- One-time valet services are available for $15 per visit. These must be scheduled in advance and paid at the time of request.
8. Liability
Derby City Trash Can Valet is not responsible for:
- Missed trash pickups by your waste company.
- Damage to cans already broken, cracked, or in poor condition.
- Trash or debris that falls out after municipal collection.
9. Acceptance
By subscribing to this service, the Client agrees to all terms outlined in this Agreement and acknowledges their responsibility to manage their subscription, payment method, and trash day schedule.
